Yesterday, our agency was honored to receive a private invite to an amazing community event Get Ready Fest® Philadelphia, hosted by The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation.
This annual event is truly a day of hope, resources, and empowerment, celebrating 15 years of impact in the community. The Foundation led by Malcolm Jenkins and his mother Gwen continues to make a lasting difference by supporting families with the essentials they need to thrive.
This year’s invitation-only event served 800 pre-identified Philadelphia families, providing
60 lbs of wholesome groceries (enough for a family of six for 7–10 days), winter coats for kids, health/dental/behavioral screenings, free haircuts, a kids’ zone with books, face painting, job readiness, veteran resources and much more! It’s always a great feeling to be part of the solution not just talking about change, but showing up for it.
